Is it possible to paint over vinyl siding?

Dr. Joe's Reply   Yes, it is definitely possible to paint over vinyl siding. For best results use a 100% acrylic waterbase paint, such as Davis 300 line flat, or Davis 1500 line satin gloss. It is best to stay with light colors, as dark colors tend to get too warm in the direct sun, causing the vinyl siding to "cup" or warp.

I don't know the brand, but we bought paint from you less than 2 years ago called "CW052W Subtly Natural." Would you still have that color in stock?

I was wondering how the Perfection line of Davis paint compares with Regal from Benjamin Moore and Durations matte finish in regard to scrubbability and coverage and sheen?

Dr. Joe's Reply   Our testing, verified by an independent lab, shows that Perfection is significantly better than those products for scrubbability, and comparable for coverage and sheen.
