Our Automotive Department has the latest in automotive finishes and accessories. Our staff can duplicate an exact color match of any color car paint. Here's how it works.

The Machine

We have a color matching machine that first takes a picture of the vehicle, using UltraViolet technology to simulate the sunlight. We then put that special photo into our computer to analyze the color and gives us a correct mixture. Once that is done, we begin mixing the paint color.

A Little Trial and Error

Once we have mixed the paint, we spray it out on cards, correct finish and all. The next step is to compare the cards with the actual vehicle.

As you can see in this picture. Our technicians have layed out 5 cards (one not shown) on this front quarter-panel of a work truck.

The Light

The light being shown in the picture to your right is a UV duplicator. Its purpose is to simulate the effects of sunlight on different finishes of a vehicle.

As you can see in the photo, the fifth color match is the exact one, as there is no difference in the color.

There you have it. Exact color matching
